"My first year in college, I spent much time in the library reading some of the most difficult material I had ever read. I had to reread the material multiple times and take a lot of notes. I tell my own students that I hope that they experience the same level of challenge because it is a sign that learning is taking place. This process takes considerable work, but it is worth it."
