David A. Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center (Off-Campus Students from 7-8pm)
Description: 

First Community Meetings are designed to foster belonging among new students at the University of Kansas, while connecting them to experienced student leaders. Students living in on-campus apartments, residence halls, or scholarship halls will attend this meeting in their hall. Students living off-campus will attend their meeting at the Student Recreation Fitness Center from 7-8pm. For those living on-campus - Housing Staff and Orientation Assistants will highlight safety and security information, establish community agreements, and discuss upcoming Hawk Week events. For those living off-campus - Orientation Assistants will highlight ways to get involved and connect at KU while living off-campus. Students will attend Hawk Week events with their RA/Proctor and/or Orientation Assistant following the First Community Meetings. For more information students living on-campus should contact their specific hall and students living off-campus should contact Cornelius Baker at hawkweek@ku.edu.
