Primary office:
Strong Hall
Room 133

Gabby Ale-Ebrahim is an Education Program Specialist in the Office of First-Year Experience at The University of Kansas, where she assists with Orientation, Hawk Week, and Common Book programs. Gabby creates events for students to socialize and connect with the KU community, acts as a resource to new students, and collaborates with campus partners. In this role, she utilizes social media to encourage freshmen and transfer students to attend Hawk Week and Common Book events.

Gabby received her Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies with a minor in Middle East Studies in May of 2018 from the University of Kansas. Gabby worked as an Orientation Assistant as an undergraduate student and served as president of KU’s UNICEF Chapter.

My first year in college was one of the best experiences of my life because I got involved on-campus. I lived in Oliver Hall, played intramural soccer and sand volleyball, and was a part of a first-year seminar course. At times I overcommitted myself, but learned from this experience by investing in a planner to organize and balance my academic and social involvement.”
