Going Global: Language, Culture, & Study Abroad

Tue, 2017-07-11 14:04 -- Jennifer Grace ...
Start Date:
Friday, August 25, 2017 - 2:00pm
End Date:
Friday, August 25, 2017 - 4:00pm
Location:
Malott Room, Kansas Union
Description:

Current students will discuss how to get involved in international and intercultural opportunities at KU, including studying a language, participating in Global Partners, studying abroad, and going through the Global Awareness Program. We'll focus on how all Jayhawks have an opportunity to engage with the world without even leaving campus.

After the short discussion/Q&A, we will have a small tabling and networking fair so students can learn more about the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, the Global Awareness Program, Global Partners, the Area Studies Centers, EGARC, the Applied English Center language partners, and Study Abroad. Snacks will be provided. For more information please contact Melody Stratton at the Office of Study Abroad at melodystratton@ku.edu.
