"My first year in college, I joined the university’s student leadership council. I met hundreds of other student leaders, developed relationships with campus administrators, and discovered my strengths though involvement with this group. I was simply looking for my place in a new community, but along the way I discovered lifelong friendships and a career in a field I love."
