Fri, 2017-07-07 14:20 -- Jennifer Grace ...
Start Date:
Monday, August 21, 2017 - 10:00am
End Date:
Monday, August 21, 2017 - 12:00pm
Location:
Anschutz Library
Description:

KU Libraries Open House is an event in which students can informally meet KU librarians over light refreshments and learn more about how KU Libraries can help them succeed. This event allows students to come and go freely and creates a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in Anschutz Library.

In an effort to gather more information surrounding "fake news", KU Libraries would like to hear from you! How do you receive news? What news sources do you trust? Do you trust what you read on social media? KU Libraries will have each of these questions written on giant pieces of paper on the main floor of Anschutz Library. We invite you to stop by anytime between August 21-August 25 to write your answers on the paper. Come and go as you please! If you have questions, please let a librarian know at one of the service desks. Your KU librarians can help you evaluate news sources and become more informed students. For more information please contact Jill Becker at jkbecker@ku.edu.
