Welcome Programs

Welcome programs are designed to support students through their transition to the University of Kansas. Programs support academic life at the university, connect students to campus resources, encourage engagement with faculty and staff members, and introduce new students to fellow Jayhawks and their new community.

Hawk Week is the official welcome week for new students. It is full of fun, information, and programs that highlight the opportunities available to students at KU. Hawk Week events are a great way to meet new friends, engage with faculty and staff, learn about the academic life of the university, and get involved

Winter Welcome is the official welcoming program for the beginning of the Spring semester. It is an opportunity for new and continuing students to engage with campus opportunities, form social bonds amongst peers and University members, and connect with academic resources.
